 ¡¡¡¡Yushan Silver carp is the wild Erqis silver carp
imported from Erqis River Xinjiang Province. It¡¯s a breed of silver
carp which is silver white, high back, grows quickly, good taste,
selected from the low back groups after purifying and breeding for
three generations. Though the original breed belongs to the Arctic
ocean system¡¯s sub-cold water fish, it still grows well in the south
China area,especially it can grow and increase weight in the winter.
As a kind of mixing growing fish of Aoni Fish, when there are
150¡ª250 fishes in one Mu, the fry will weighs more than 500 grams by
the end of the year. The growing speed faster at 11.81% than Pengze
silver carp. As a growing object, the high quality silver carp will
increase output 75-100kg per mu with no influence to the main kinds
of fish yields, so the economic benefit is stable. In March, 2001,
the senior experts of aquatic products organized by Guangzhou
Scientific Committee identified this program and regarded it as¡°It
is first time in our country a new silver carp has been bred from
Xinjiang Erqis silver carp and Feng carp. This technology has
reached advanced level among the same domestic work¡± This science
and research result was awarded the third prize of Guangzhou Science
and Technology in 2001, and first prize of Panyu District Science
and Technology. |
