 ¡¡¡¡Miaonan Kudzu Vine has been planted more than 50 years
in the Miaonan Village of Lingshan Town. At present, in
Lingshan Town, it is mainly planted in the Miaonan, Xinsha, Gaosha and so on.In recent years, the entire town sown area maintains
about 1,800 mu, yields per mu approximately 750 kilograms per mu,
ultimate output approximately 1,350 tons. The peasant households
select generally ¡°No.1 Nanfeng" which passes through depuration and
the cultivation for many years in the village.In addition ,the soil
layer is deep, land fertile, production of the starch of kudzu is
individually moderated, the contour is good, excellent in quality.
South Temple¡¯s starch of kudzu is spindle shaped, grooves are few
but shallow . Pericarp is thin and smooth.It is pale golden yellow,
every one weighs generally 1-4 kilograms; Pulp is white with few
textile fiber and high starch .The taste is sweet with high quality,
valuable in kudzu starch. It goes on the market during 8-12 month of
harvest every year.A great deal is exported to Hong Kong and Macau
