 The Dashi arrowhead is a traditional agricultural
product of Dashi Town and has a long history of planting in this
area. It is a perennial plant and its root system is rather
prosperous. The corm is round, a little flat and substantial. It is
yellow and white. It is rich in amylum and tastes a little bitter.
Arrowhead is the best traditional food for the Spring
Festival.The Dashi arrowhead is a leading brand of Panyu Agriculture. With the support of the government, we have established the growing base. The arrowhead sells well in overseas market. The arrowhead is mainly planted in Shaxi Village, Luoxi Village, Daxi Village, Dongxiang Village. The planting area is more than 1,200 mu and 1.6 ton for each mu, and more than 2000 tons totally in a year. The Dashi arrowhead grows well in the low and fertile field. Because of the good planting conditions, the arrowhead is big and of good quality. They are planted in August and marketed from the end of December to the next February. |
